Story Box at the National Preserve “Saint Sophia of Kyiv”, August 2026

Last Saturday, we opened another special “Story Box” 📖✨ — this time in the very heart of Kyiv.
Together with the children, we read the book “Mysteries on the Walls of Saint Sophia Cathedral”, wrote messages to future generations 💌, explored centuries-old graffiti ✍️, and discovered the stories preserved within the walls of Saint Sophia of Kyiv.
What brought us the greatest joy was seeing the sparkle in the children’s eyes ✨ and their fascinated looks as they admired the magnificent mosaics of Saint Sophia during the guided tour of the cathedral 🏛️.
Together, we create experiences that help children see that history is alive, close to them, and truly fascinating! 💙💛

Story Box at the National Museum of the History of Ukraine, July 2026

On July 25, we held another meeting of the “Story Box” Reading Club, organized together with the National Museum of the History of Ukraine. This time, we read the book “A Dog on Wheels” 🐶🛞 and talked with the children about care, friendship, and acceptance.
During the meeting, the children learned how Amur the dog adapted to a new way of life, who helps animals that have been left without a home, and how each of us can help make the world a kinder place for animals. 💛
After the reading, the children took part in an interactive game called “Pet Exhibition.” They created their own furry characters or introduced their real pets, came up with special superpowers for them, and presented them at a real exhibition. 🎨🐾
Meetings like these help children explore important values through stories and play — empathy, responsibility, friendship, and caring for those around us.

Story Box at the National Museum of the History of Ukraine, July 2026

📜 On the weekend, you can simply go to the park for an ice cream. Or you can travel back in time for an hour to medieval Kyiv, when the markets of Podil were bustling, merchants traded their goods, and no one had ever heard of ice cream, cotton candy, or bubble tea.
That’s exactly how we spent our Saturday at another meeting of the "Story Box" Reading Club, organized together with the National Museum of the History of Ukraine.
While the children were discovering the world of princely Kyiv, the adults were just as engaged. Together, we guessed medieval professions from the times of Kyivan Rus, debated, laughed, and searched for the right answers. It seemed that the parents were having just as much fun as the children.
💜 This is what family weekends can look like—when every member of the family enjoys learning, exploring, and spending time together.

Story Box at the Archaeological Museum of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, April 2026

📖 We read the story "A Day in the Life of a Prehistoric Human", explored artifacts with the museum’s archaeologist, and even had the chance to hold some of the exhibits in our hands, imagining what life was like thousands of years ago.The children reflected on what connects people of the Paleolithic and us today — safety, home, and the support of loved ones. Their thoughts were childlike in sincerity, yet deeply insightful.The exhibits no longer felt distant; through stories and the children’s reflections, they came alive. And who knows — perhaps one day some of these children will return here as future archaeologists.

📖 We read the story “Who Were the Trypillians?” and explored artifacts together with the museum’s archaeologist.The children talked a lot about the connection between the past and the future — with childlike sincerity and, at the same time, striking adult honesty.One of the children said that protection from the enemy was important both 6,000 years ago and today — a sentence that contained more meaning than many adult conversations.And about what matters to us now. In the children’s words, it is freedom, family, shelters, electricity, food, and eco-flow.

⚱️ The children listened to “Scythian Gold”, asked their thoughtful, grown-up questions, explored museum stories together with their parents, and felt like real researchers.
🥰 And they also created their own “gilded” animals inspired by the scenes of the Scythian Pectoral.
