About our organization

The full-scale invasion by Russia has posed the biggest challenge to education. Destroyed schools, missile attacks, population evacuations - these are just some of the problems that require swift solutions, taking into account the needs of teachers, parents, and children.

Space of Knowledge creates educational projects for Ukrainian children and educators and provides legal and psychological support to teachers and families.

About the project

Our mission

Quality education for children is the best investment in the future, so we strive to improve the educational process in Ukraine.

The speakers of our webinars are educators from all over the world who have relevant experience and are ready to share their knowledge with our teachers.

Psychological webinars for parents and educators

Burnout, fatigue, stressful situations – problems in the well-being of teachers have only worsened since the beginning of a full-scale war in our country. These events have their impact on students and their ability to perceive the educational process. We suggest not to ignore these problems, but to devote enough time to improve your mental health. At psychological webinars, we tell how to avoid crisis situations and stay in harmony with ourselves and students.

Legal webinars for teachers

We aim to explain the legal aspects of the professional activities of teachers, and to tell parents and students the basic principles of legal literacy in the educational process.

School Without Walls (project 2022)

On April 4, 2022, Atlantic School together with NGO “Smart Osvita” and CSO “Space of Knowledge” successfully launched an educational program "School Without Walls" to support Ukrainian children, who have lost the opportunity to study.

Reviews

After the first day at School Without Walls, Ulyana called me - and it was a real sincere emotional revelation: "Mom, this is not a school. It is something incredibly cool. The classes are so interesting and the teachers are so kind!”Your school and your teachers have done a real miracle - my child is happy to study, enjoys good grades and wishes to continue st the Atlantic in peacetime. You are real magicians and you create vitaly important environment for our children. "

School Without Walls gives an opportunity to create the daily routine “normalcy”, so needed for children after having witnessed the horror of war. This is not just a learning “for the sake of meeting school standards", but a high-quality teaching… in-depth study of English (daily lessons, even meetings with a native speaker). The classes are aimed at stabilizing the psychological state of children - this is very important now...

Oksana

Mother of Sviatoslav and Veronica, 5th and 3rd grades

“Our children have nothing left now. No home, no community, no friends, no toys. No school. We lack it all so much. Teachers at School Without Walls are so friendly and attentive. They support and encourage our kids to great extent.
We are incredibly grateful for this project. This learning experience shows that we are not separated by walls, but united together in such difficult time for Ukraine."

Eugene's mother, 5th grade

"My kid at the age of 10 is a challenge to get organized, he does not accept parents as teachers ... And only with the beginning of classes in your school everything became organized, interesting and real! .. Our previous school did not offer any online classes. "It's so rewarding that classes at School Without Walls are interesting, not boring at all! .. He liked the teachers ... Very creative English lessons."

Olena

Yana's mother, 4th grade

"My son likes learning, he talks about new math games with enthusiasm…, he is waiting for his math classes and runs to classes with great joy… learning is interesting, he likes it, he is developing well. This war has once again proved how important it is to be smart :)

Daria

Kyril's mother, 2nd grade

"Reintegration into the learning process with the Atlantic took place in a comfortable way for the child… A small number of students in the classroom allows teachers to listen to each child, ask feedback after class, check homework... This is my child's first experience when asked personal opinion on how to improve the quality of education at school...We thank you your partners and donors for the timely idea, its implementation and the daily hard work that forms the future of our children and Ukraine."

Iryna

Katherine's mother, 3rd grade

"... Nonna is so excited about studying at the School Without Walls . Sometimes I don't recognize her, because she used to be indifferent to school subjects. And now she keeps track of time and worries to be late for class. It's not just cool, it's unrealistic.
Thank you so much to the teachers in School Without Walls who teach with inspiration and encourage children to learn. In such way kids easily concentrate on learning experience and get distracted from the tense situation in the country!”
