NGO “Space of Knowledge” | School Without Walls

On April 4, 2022, Atlantic School together with NGO “Smart Osvita” and CSO “Space of Knowledge” successfully launched an educational program "School Without Walls" to support Ukrainian children, who have lost the opportunity to study.

School Without Walls is opened for children whose families:

got internally displaced from occupied territories and zones of active warfare;

reside in places where schools are partially destroyed or fully destructed;

live on temporarily occupied territories;

found safe haven in countries that offer temporary residence.

During the project:

Сhildren from Kharkiv, Mariupol, Kherson, Sievierodonetsk, Popasna, Brovary, other cities and villages of Kyiv, Chernihiv, Donetsk and Luhansk regions studied here.

Thanks to the program, 156 children by June 30 studied for free in a full-fledged online format with the teachers’ "live connection". The teaching process performed in small groups, where the teacher listened to everyone, also the psychologist conducted regular classes. The project was implemented thanks to financial support from the Child Fund Deutschland and the Tabletochki Charitable Foundation.

This project of a full-fledged free online school allowed 156 children (internally displaced from the occupied territories and the war zone) who lived in the temporarily occupied territories to successfully complete the school year. In September 2022, the project was continued in cooperation with the Atlantic Lyceum.
